DC TV Universe vs Movie Universe. Will it work?

As many of you have heard by now, DC have made an announcement that they will not combine both the TV universe and the movie universe. While Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D tried their best to combine the series with MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe), DC plan to let its TV universe to grow on its own and by the look of it, will not even mention events that related to the movie.

So far, I think that DC is winning it’s TV universe by bringing hits tv shows such as The Flash, Arrow, and Gotham. Although Constantine was cancelled but it has a massive fan base that would do anything to keep the show alive. Fans are trying to keep the show alive by signing petition. Comparing to its comic counterpart, Marvel, DC have more success in creating a tv universe for their comic characters (although this is arguable because of Daredevil).

With Grant Gustin as the Flash on the TV universe, DC casted Ezra Miller to become the Flash for their upcoming Flash movie. For fans who watched the tv series, this drew a big question mark. Will Ezra Miller be a better Flash than Grant Gustin? Which universe of the Flash will Ezra Miller be playing? It is hard not to compare and question his ability of playing the Flash.

One of the recent interview with Ezra Miller, he mentioned that he thinks that the television series of The Flash was awesome.

Not only that he also said, “And come on, it’s The Flash, it’s parallel universes. Grant Gustin is The Flash and I’m The Flash. Don’t you see? It’s the event horizon. We’ve crossed it, baby! Grant and I are chilling. We’re going to have a race, it will be dope.”

So what do you think about Ezra Miller playing the Flash? Will he be an awesome Barry Allen?
